We missed you Mimi! It was a very well organized activity and we met lots of new people and enjoyed old friends as well. I like the energy of the new leaders, although Eric Hauber was not there and I missed his presence. My only complaint is that they showed a video lecture by a national leader and while the content was ok, I don't like coming to meetings to watch videos.
But otherwise, an outstanding conference.

Who made it to FNCC last weekend? I'd love to know how it was. Went to Culture Dept FNCC meetings in 2006 and 2007- life changing experiences for me. Stayed home this time to support my son and his Class III Soccer team. Petulama United Rebels took 3rd place in the Kickin' Chicken Tournament (Petaluma is famous for chickens and eggs hence the name).
It was great to support my son (who played extremely well this weekend)... Also missed hanging out with you guys:)

Yeah I want to go too :( .... I teach art and my school starts July 30. My daughter's going to the FNCC YPG conference this friday :) . I consider this sacrifice as 3 causes for victory: hereditarily, monetarily, and socially...

Hi, I am a healing arts division member from Petaluma CA. I am a pediatrician. A friend of mine who is an academic division member from Modesto CA (where I used to live) is seriously ill with a newly diagnosed brain tumor. Her name is BJ (Barbara) Wells. She is an English as a second language instructor at Modesto Junior College. She is currently hospitalized at UCSF in San Francisco.
Daimoku greatly appreciated for my friend.
