Bartek

For two days, I've had a visitor. Bartek is a friend of a friend of mine, and since he had only two days left in Holland before he was going back to Poland, he stayed at my place. He was journeybound at 5 this morning, and yesterday I said: "Oh, then I'll see you tomorrow! I'm going to chant at a Buddhist friend's 6.15 in the morning!" In the morning I got up and did gongyo before leaving. Nowadays I feel more like doing that. Bartek left the house somewhat earlier than me, and I took my lights… Continue

Sansho shima and the Jedi knight saber

This morning: a lecture on Sansho Shima from Japan. it was so exciting that I forgot my notebook and copy of the lecture at J.'s. After retrieving it and after the streetparty I began to re-read it. And while I do.... a green lightsaber hits the rails in front of me. No child in sight. Only thing: tram passing on the other side of the street, windows closed. Doors open: a few people get out, but no kids. I take it home with me. I always wanted a light saber. Jedi Knight. arm Thyself! :)

Ichinen

We went to the New Film- and TV-Makers networking party in Amsterdam together: Lou, Rob and I; the two of them scriptwriters, and I an actress. We hoped to make useful connections and get stimulating ideas. Seated in the Chinese Amasia restaurant, we felt really legit, discussing scriptwriting while waiting for the party to start. Things turned out so differently, I learnt 3 things: 1. Actors are very short. In fact, my height. 2. I am so rich, I thought I didn't understand show biz well and ha… Continue

So scared, so tired running along hearing only the sound of my footsteps through lone corridors the loneliness, the loneliness. when a friend's dream dies it crushes to my heart when a mother passes away suffering quells my heart and friends falling by the wayside losing faith losing hope losing everything run along hearing only loneliness- the footsteps- the loneliness, the corridors They say youth ends somewhere in all the years I felt eighty I never was as tired as this the weight and exp… Continue

Think and grow rich

Interesting. I've recently joined a free course in Amsterdam to learn about the nature of money. It must be my good karma, after I taught the all-round mystic The Artist's Way course to 10 people for free. As a buddhist I am also very interested in other people's ways of thinking, and creativity and money happen to be two of the interests of my artist. We went off to a slower start than I used to, always travelling at light speed with the power of Myo. Tonight was the second night, and we all… Continue

Hallo Kiemlan

I' ve had sommige laugable resultaten met Franse & Japans. (glimlach)

OH Kiemlan, I am rather depressed because I just spent a half an hour writing to you but I am so tired that I fell asleep and when I woke up, everything was deleted. My finger must have been on th backspace bar. I have so much to say to you, especially after today's zandankai meeting but am too tired to retype it, but will rety[e it in the morning. It is midnight here in India and I have so much to day. Peace, Suku
